Security and Data Handling

How Joynity approaches data handling, remote support, safeguards, third party tools, and customer responsibilities.

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Our approach

Joynity handles data with care and uses practical administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards based on the type of service, system, client agreement, and information involved.

Data we may handle

  • Contact and account information.
  • Project notes, support requests, and service details.
  • Business workflow data provided by clients.
  • Device, app, or system information needed for support.
  • Files, photos, memories, or documents provided for approved services.
  • BatteryOps operational records, alert logs, and warehouse workflow data.

Security practices

  • Use of approved tools and service providers for business operations.
  • Reasonable access controls based on role, project, and service need.
  • Practical data minimization where possible.
  • Remote support only when authorized or scheduled.
  • Use of secure links, portals, or approved transfer methods when appropriate.
  • Review of repeatable security tasks as SOPs for Joynity Protect and Joynity Labs.

Remote support

Remote support may require approved tools, consent, scheduling, and customer participation. Customers should close private files, avoid exposing unnecessary sensitive information, and only approve sessions they recognize.

Customer responsibilities

  • Use strong passwords and protect login details.
  • Notify Joynity quickly about unauthorized access or suspected compromise.
  • Do not send unnecessary sensitive information through public forms, SMS, or unsecured email.
  • Follow agreed operational procedures for systems like BatteryOps.

No guarantee

Joynity uses practical safeguards, but no company can promise perfect security or complete elimination of risk. Cybersecurity, system uptime, data protection, and message delivery all depend on many factors, including customer practices and third party services.
