Text Messaging Terms and SMS Consent Policy

How Joynity uses SMS and MMS for service updates, reminders, support, operational alerts, and approved communications.

Last updated: July 4, 2026

SMS consent

By providing your mobile phone number and separately agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to receive SMS or MMS messages from Joynity LLC. Messages may relate to your inquiry, appointment, support request, account, service plan, billing, reminders, project updates, operational alerts, or other requested communication.

Separate consent

SMS consent is separate from accepting Terms of Use or Privacy Policy. SMS consent checkboxes should be unchecked by default. You are not required to agree to marketing text messages as a condition of purchase, account creation, or access to unrelated services.

Types of messages

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders.
  • Support updates and service follow ups.
  • Project or consultation coordination.
  • Billing reminders or payment related notices.
  • Customer service responses.
  • BatteryOps operational alerts, if you use BatteryOps.
  • Occasional promotional messages only when permitted and separately consented to.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your relationship with Joynity, your requests, support needs, appointments, operational activity, and service status. For BatteryOps, message frequency may increase when batteries are checked out, due soon, overdue, restricted, or require warehouse review.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for messages depending on your mobile plan.

Opt out

You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP. After you reply STOP, you may receive a final confirmation message. After that, Joynity will stop sending SMS messages to that number where the opt out can be processed.

Help

You can reply HELP for help. You can also contact support@joynity.app.

Mobile information sharing

Joynity does not sell mobile phone numbers. Mobile opt in information and text messaging consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may assist with message delivery, customer support, hosting, communication, and system operations, but they are not authorized to use mobile opt in data for their own marketing.

Supported carriers and delivery

Message delivery depends on mobile carriers, device status, network availability, provider systems, and other factors outside Joynity control. Joynity does not guarantee message delivery or timing.

Changing your number

If your mobile number changes, you are responsible for updating Joynity. If you receive messages intended for someone else, reply STOP and contact Joynity.
