Terms of Use

The basic terms that govern use of Joynity websites, services, content, portals, and customer interactions.

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing Joynity websites, submitting forms, using Joynity services, accessing portals, purchasing services, or communicating with Joynity, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the website or services.

About Joynity services

Joynity provides human centered technology, support, care coordination workflows, memory preservation tools, business systems, dashboards, automations, and related services through Joynity Labs, Joynity Protect, Joynity Care, Joynity Moments, Powered by Joynity, and related products such as BatteryOps.

Website and service use

You agree to use Joynity websites, forms, portals, and services only for lawful, respectful, and authorized purposes. You agree not to interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, submit harmful code, misuse forms, impersonate others, upload unlawful content, copy restricted content, or use Joynity services in a way that harms Joynity, customers, partners, or others.

Accounts and access

Some services may require accounts, portals, forms, passwords, invitation links, or approved access. You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for notifying Joynity if you believe access has been compromised.

Service agreements

Some Joynity services may be governed by a proposal, statement of work, invoice, subscription plan, project agreement, client agreement, licensing agreement, or partner agreement. If a separate written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separate written agreement controls for that specific work.

Payments

You agree to pay approved fees, deposits, subscriptions, setup costs, project charges, product charges, support charges, or licensing fees according to the applicable invoice or agreement. Late, missed, or failed payments may delay service, pause access, or result in cancellation.

Messaging and communication

Joynity may communicate with you by email, phone, SMS, portal message, video call, or other channels based on your request, account, service relationship, or consent. SMS consent is separate from general acceptance of these Terms. You are not required to agree to marketing text messages as a condition of purchasing or receiving services.

User content

You are responsible for content you submit to Joynity, including text, photos, memories, stories, files, names, contact details, business data, and support information. You confirm that you have the right to submit the content and allow Joynity to use it for the requested service.

Joynity Moments content

Joynity Moments may involve family memories, photos, stories, and tribute content. Family admins and contributors are responsible for ensuring that submitted content is appropriate, authorized, and respectful. Additional rules are listed in the Memory Submission Terms.

BatteryOps and operational systems

BatteryOps and related Joynity Labs systems are operational tools intended to support workflow visibility, battery movement tracking, return accountability, alerts, dashboards, and related business processes. BatteryOps does not replace customer judgment, warehouse procedures, equipment checks, safety requirements, or partner operational policies.

Third party tools

Joynity may use third party platforms such as Zoho, Twilio, payment processors, analytics providers, hosting services, remote support tools, communication providers, and other systems. Third party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, availability limits, and fees.

No emergency service

Joynity is not an emergency response service. For emergencies, safety threats, medical crises, mental health crises, fire, crime, or immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service.

No medical, legal, tax, or financial advice

Joynity may provide practical coordination, technology support, systems guidance, and general information. Unless separately agreed in writing with a properly licensed provider, Joynity does not provide medical diagnosis, clinical treatment, legal advice, tax advice, financial advice, or insurance advice.

No security guarantee

Joynity Protect, Joynity Labs, and related services may help with practical device care, remote support, patching, monitoring, dashboards, and security hygiene. No service can guarantee that devices, accounts, systems, or networks will be completely secure or uninterrupted.

Intellectual property

Joynity websites, designs, copy, workflows, templates, graphics, systems, dashboards, documentation, and related materials are owned by Joynity or its licensors unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, resell, license, or reuse Joynity materials outside the permitted service relationship without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joynity is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost profit damages arising from website use, service delays, third party platforms, customer provided information, or unauthorized use of services.

Changes to these terms

Joynity may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new last updated date.
